Internal tooling

Automation tools built on the Google Ads API

To support our internal media buying team, we build private automation tools on top of the Google Ads API. These tools are not public-facing — they are used only by our staff and contractors to manage client campaigns more efficiently.

  • Performance reporting. Pulls campaign, ad group, and keyword metrics into our internal dashboards for the account team.
  • Disapproval alerts. Monitors ad and asset disapprovals and notifies the responsible specialist so issues are fixed quickly.
  • Bid adjustments. Applies rule-based bid changes the team has pre-approved, based on conversion data and pacing targets.
  • Budget pacing. Tracks spend vs. monthly client budgets and flags accounts that are pacing over or under target.
  • Quality assurance. Audits naming conventions, conversion tracking, and structural rules across managed accounts.

All access is restricted to our internal staff and contractors. The tools operate only on Google Ads accounts that our agency manages with the client's authorization through our manager (MCC) account.

To support that work, we maintain a small set of internal engineering tools that interact with the Google Ads API on behalf of accounts under our management.

We do not resell access to these tools. They are used only by our staff and contractors as part of delivering our managed services to clients.
